Musical Hospitals

It’s that time again! Let’s play musical hospitals.

Mum was headed to Greenslopes Hospital on Wednesday to have her final massive 2cm kidney stone removed. Because of the problems she’s had this last week, the hospital requested she be transferred there today so she can be monitored in the lead up to the surgery.

Mum’s chest x-ray hasn’t revealed any abnormalities but the doctors thought she might be developing bronchitis. Between the UTI, ear infection and possible chest infection she’s on a ton of antibiotics so hopefully this will help and the surgery will go ahead as planned.

So Mum is now in yet another hospital – Greenslopes – which isn’t as inconvenient as St Vincent’s but is very nearly. We’re crossing our fingers the surgery goes ahead.
